The 2021 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour closed out on the August 13-15 weekend with the 11th running of the SummerNationals. The New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana welcomed the largest event of the season with 253 entries battling in the final two rounds of the championship chase for the nine categories. Rob Howden and David Cole provide a complete rundown of the two days of racing and how the point standings ended up in this new episode of the EKN Debrief - thanks to Leading Edge Motorsports. This weekend marks the conclusion of the 2021 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour with the 11th running of the SummerNationals. Teams and drivers will converge on the New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana for Round Five and Round Six of the championship program to crown the nine category champions. Rob Howden and David Cole preview the event, set to welcome over 245 entries on the weekend, in this episode of the EKN OutLap - presented by Parolin USA.

2021 marks the return of the Rock Island Grand Prix. What has been the world’s largest street race is coming back after missing over the Labor Day weekend in 2020. Karters return to battle for the coveted ROCK trophy on September 4-5 with the event working alongside the National Karting Alliance this year and in the future. EKN’s Rob Howden talks with RIGP’s Roger Ruthhart and NKA’s Joe Janowski about what to expect from this year’s Rock Island Grand Prix in this new episode of Face2Face.

The inaugural IAME USA Grand National Championship presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza was held on July 29-August 1 at the GoPro Motorplex. The unique one-off event offered a large cash purse and IAME International Final tickets with seven drivers leaving the Mooresville, North Carolina with victory in the respective categories. Two special Shootout events along with a Tuner Challenge took part over the four days in addition to the regular racing. EKN’s Rob Howden and David Cole caught up with four of the winners; including Pauly Massimino, Carson Morgan, Ryan Norberg and Connor Zilisch in this episode of the Face2Face.

A new and unique event, with multiple organizations coming together, is set to take place in Utah this July. The United States Karting Grand Prix is scheduled for July 23-25 at the Utah Motorsports Campus. Among those organizations involved include the World Karting Association, TAG USA International and the Puget Sound Road Racing Association. WKA President Kevin Williams, TAG USA’s Marty Casey and Aaron Stanford from PSRRA join Rob Howden for this episode of Face2Face to discuss the sprint and road racing event.

The 40th episode welcomes Brittany Lobaugh of the Texas Sprint Racing Series. The Superkarts! USA / International Kart Federation sanctioned program has become the top regional program in the southern portion of the United States. The opening two events of 2021 both fell just short of the 200-entry mark with a focus on the grassroots categories, competitors while welcoming the big teams and top drivers. Rob Howden and David Cole discuss the evolution of the series and what to expect for the remainder of the 2021 season in the Lone Star State.
