eKartingNews has launched a new program for social media and the EKN Radio Network - Face2Face. The show is broadcasted live over Facebook and YouTube, with the audio version making its way to the only 24 hour / 7 days a week radio station.
Episode 71 of the EKN Face2Face live show welcomed Kris McCrone of the Ohio Sprint Series. The former Buckeye Karting Challenge program is under new ownership, focused on the grassroots level with a long-term goal of making the state of Ohio a centerpiece for the sport of karting. Rob Howden and David Cole host the ‘EKN Prime Time’ edition discussing the upcoming three-event season for 2023 and the future plans of the program, and some exciting ideas for the future.

The first EKN Face2Face live show of May 2023 kicked off with a special 'EKN Prime Time' edition. Rob Howden and David Cole hosted Episode 70, welcoming back Greg Jasperson of the Cup Karts North America organization along with Gerald Caseley from the CKNA Canada Division. They provide insight into the Briggs 206 focus program on each side of the border.

The second event of the 2023 United States Pro Kart Series was held on the April 28-30 weekend, with the Speedsportz Racing Park hosting the Texas Grand Prix. The New Caney, Texas facility welcomed 284 entries on the weekend competing in eight categories. The EKN OutLap is a preview podcast show, geared at providing you the top stories, breaking news, and championship battles going into the weekend.
The second stop of the 2023 United States Pro Kart Series takes the program west of the Mississippi River for the first time, visiting the Speedsportz Racing Park for the first ever Texas Grand Prix. The New Caney, Texas facility will welcome close to 300 entries in the eight categories battling for three days to become the first ever winners for a USPKS event at Speedsportz. The first edition of the Hot Seat is here for 2023. After a busy first few events on the new year, EKN Managing Editor David Cole was able to schedule a sit down interview with the glue behind the growing GFC Karting race team and brand. Sonny Cervelli calls NorCal home, and what better person to grab after a busy day of practice at Sonoma Raceway for the Challenge of the Americas series finale than a guy who has a 30-minute drive to his own home. Cervelli has a long history in the sport as a driver, making his way up the ranks to the national level. Now, you can see him as the Director of Operations for GFC. They discuss his role, the growth of GFC, and other topics surrounding the sport in Episode 7 of the Hot Seat.

The 2023 Challenge of the Americas came to an end over the April 14-16 weekend at the Sonoma Raceway. The Sonoma, California facility hosted the fifth and sixth rounds of the premier west coast winter series to decide the champions in the 16th season of the program.
