eKartingNews has launched a new program for social media and the EKN Radio Network - Face2Face. The show is broadcasted live over Facebook and YouTube, with the audio version making its way to the only 24 hour / 7 days a week radio station.

Episode 88 of Face2Face focuses on the 30th edition of the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix, set for August 30-31. The downtown district of Rock Island, Illinois turns into a two-day karting festival, welcoming karters from all over the USA, Canada, and around the world to compete for the coveted Rock trophy. The 2025 edition celebrates the 30th running of the race, which returns to the original course after a year held in a different section of the city thanks to district receiving new development and improvements, highlighted by repaved streets. Rob Howden and David Cole welcome Roger Ruthhart – president of the Rock Island Grand Prix volunteer committee – along with special guests to discuss this year’s event.

The 2025 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour ended over the July 25-27 weekend with the SummerNationals contested at the New Castle Motorsports Park. The largest SummerNats in the history of SKUSA welcomed 301 entries over the eight categories on the weekend at the New Castle, Indiana facility, helping to decide this year’s SKUSA Pro Tour champions.
