A new and unique event, with multiple organizations coming together, is set to take place in Utah this July. The United States Karting Grand Prix is scheduled for July 23-25 at the Utah Motorsports Campus. Among those organizations involved include the World Karting Association, TAG USA International and the Puget Sound Road Racing Association. WKA President Kevin Williams, TAG USA’s Marty Casey and Aaron Stanford from PSRRA join Rob Howden for this episode of Face2Face to discuss the sprint and road racing event.

USA / International Kart Federation sanctioned program has become the top regional program in the southern portion of the United States. The summer season is upon us as we are nearing the end of the first half for 2021. Among the summer programs in karting is the California ROK Championship. Series promoter Andy Seesemann joins EKN for Episode 39 of Face2Face with Rob Howden and David Cole. He discusses the series opener at Buttonwillow and the upcoming event in Sonoma, along with the highly anticipated double round weekend at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex. Seesemann updates us on the schedule change for the series end and an brief outlook into the 2022 Challenge of the Americas.

The midway point of the 2021 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour was completed this past weekend with the 11th running of the SpringNationals. Held at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, Utah, over 220 entries contested the nine divisions for Round Three and Four of the championship program on the May 21-23 weekend. Rob Howden and David Cole breakdown the weekend in this new episode of the ‘EKN Debrief’ - thanks to Parolin USA. One of the newest karting programs established is the Stars Championship Series. The four-event series is promoted by a veteran of the sport and industry - National Karting Alliance owner Joe Janowski. The Janowski family was part of the launch for Superkarts! USA in the 1990s and Janowski continues to be involved in the sport for over four decades. The SCS kicked off the 2021 season with record numbers in April, ready to tackle the final three events of the year with even more momentum. Janowski joins EKN’s Rob Howden for this episode of Face2Face.

After the COVID-19 pandemic forced a postponement and eventual cancelation of the 2020 edition, the Quincy Grand Prix is coming back with an exciting two-day festival on June 5-6. The United States Pro Kart Series continued its 2021 season with the second event of the year.
