The EKN Trackside Live program visits multiple events throughout the karting season. Leading up to major events on the calendar, EKN is happy to provide a show as part of the EKN Radio Network. The EKN OutLap is a preview podcast show, geared at providing you the top stories, breaking news, and championship battles going into the weekend.

The midway point to the 2022 Challenge of the Americas is coming this weekend (February 25-27) with Rounds Three and Four contested at the Phoenix Kart Racing Association in Glendale, Arizona. Over 120 entries are set to battle in the 10 divisions as the 15th anniversary season continues. Rob Howden and David Cole preview the nine categories set to do battle in this episode of the OutLap, presented by Parolin USA.

The 2022 Superkarts! USA Winter Series closed out its program on the February 11-13 weekend at the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires. The third and fourth rounds of the championship series were contested by the nine categories, deciding this year’s final race victors and title winners. The 2022 Superkarts! USA Winter Series is set to conclude this weekend with competitors and teams heading to the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires on the February 11-13 weekend. The final two rounds of the four-race championship series will be held at the Homestead, Florida facility. The 15th season for Challenge of the Americas kicked off on the January 28-30 weekend at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. EKN was trackside to provide coverage for the opening two rounds of the 2022 championship chase, welcoming nearly 130 entries in the nine categories competing. Episode 2 of the EKN Tent Talk traveled to the Challenge of the Americas 2022 opener at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. GFC Karting / Formula Works opened up their tent for us Friday evening following a full day of practice. GFC himself Gary Carlton joined Rob Howden and David Cole to open up the show, along with team manager Sonny Cervelli to discuss the past, present and future of the brand and race team. Drivers Kyle Wick, defending ROK Shifter champion, and recent SuperNationals top qualifier Jake Drew also discuss their plans for the 2022 season.

The RTX Karting Rotax Winter Trophy is a new program to provide a place for ‘Rotaxians’ a place to open the new year. Following the first event in January, Grid 14 USA’s Esteban Del Rio and official Rotax commentator Henry Beaudette join Rob Howden and David Cole to discuss the first two rounds of the program and the plans for series finale, the future of Rotax and the RTX Karting in 2022.
