What better way for eKartingNews to introduce you to the industry and those competing in the sport then to go straight to them for a sit-down discussion. That is the goal of the 'EKN Tent Talk', the newest component of the EKN Trackside coverage program. EKN sets up shop with one of the teams in the paddock and welcomes guests under the tent.
Episode 2 of the EKN Tent Talk traveled to the Challenge of the Americas 2022 opener at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. GFC Karting / Formula Works opened up their tent for us Friday evening following a full day of practice. GFC himself Gary Carlton joined Rob Howden and David Cole to open up the show, along with team manager Sonny Cervelli to discuss the past, present and future of the brand and race team. Drivers Kyle Wick, defending ROK Shifter champion, and recent SuperNationals top qualifier Jake Drew also discuss their plans for the 2022 season.

eKartingNews has launched a new program for social media and the EKN Radio Network - Face2Face. The show is broadcasted live over Facebook and YouTube, with the audio version making its way to the only 24 hour / 7 days a week radio station.
The RTX Karting Rotax Winter Trophy is a new program to provide a place for ‘Rotaxians’ a place to open the new year. Following the first event in January, Grid 14 USA’s Esteban Del Rio and official Rotax commentator Henry Beaudette join Rob Howden and David Cole to discuss the first two rounds of the program and the plans for series finale, the future of Rotax and the RTX Karting in 2022.

The EKN Trackside Live program visits multiple events throughout the karting season. Leading up to major events on the calendar, EKN is happy to provide a show as part of the EKN Radio Network. The EKN OutLap is a preview podcast show, geared at providing you the top stories, breaking news, and championship battles going into the weekend.
The 15th season for Challenge of the Americas kicks off over the January 28-30 weekend at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. The opening two rounds of the championship begin the chase toward the ROK Cup Superfinal tickets to the drivers who finish the six-round title program on top of the podium. Rob Howden and David Cole preview the 10 categories set to do battle in this episode of the OutLap, presented by Acceleration Kart Racing.

Challenge of the Americas is set to kick off its 15th season in 2022, beginning with the opening rounds in Tucson, Arizona on the final weekend of January. EKN’s Rob Howden and David Cole sat down with series promoter Andy Seesemann to discuss the upcoming opener and the outlook for the rest of the Challenge, in addition to the California ROK Championship program later this summer.

The 2022 season is officially underway with the first EKN Trackside event of the year. EKN travelled to the Superkarts! USA Winter Series opening weekend, held on January 7-9 at the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires. The 220 entries in nine categories battled on and off rain conditions, including flooding of the track and paddock on early Saturday. Rob Howden and David Cole provide a report from the event in this new episode of the EKN Debrief - thanks to Parolin USA. They cover the MG Tires Paddock Pass, followed by the Race Report presented by Leading Edge Motorsports. The EKN Trackside Live Race Calendar presented by Franklin Motorsports completes the podcast.

For the inaugural show, Rob Howden and David Cole ventured to the Trinity Karting Group tent. There they welcomed TKG owner Shawn Bayliff to discuss the development of their operation and home track of Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati. Moving to the hot seat next was X30 Senior driver Thomas Nepveu before KA100 Senior pilots Gavin and Finnegan Bayliff completed the show.
