The inaugural Race Rotax US Trophy Final was contested on the October 7-9 weekend at the New Castle Motorsports Park. A gathering of ‘Rotaxians’ from across the United States, Canada, and other Central and South American countries at the New Castle, Indiana facility provided the final Rotax event of the 2022 season, welcoming 78 drivers in five categories. Drivers were competing to complete the Trophy Series program, and award 12 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals tickets following the main events. A new event has been established for the 2022 season, matching the best Rotaxians together for one final swing for a ticket to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Portugal. The Race Rotax US Trophy Final is set for the New Castle Motorsports Park on October 7-9. Five MAX categories will compete for 12 different Rotax Grand Finals tickets on the line, along with becoming the first drivers to earn the US Trophy Final titles. The sixth edition of the Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals were held on the September 30-October 2 weekend at the New Castle Motorsports Park. The New Castle, Indiana facility once again welcomed a record turnout of Briggs & Stratton 206 drivers from Canada and the USA with 385 entries in eight categories. The Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals 6 presented by Nitro Kart is set to take place this weekend at the New Castle Motorsports Park. Over 300 Briggs & Stratton 206 drivers will converge on the New Castle, Indiana facility for the ‘Briggs & Stratton Runoffs’ style event. Eight categories utilizing the Briggs 206 engine platform will battle to determine who joins the record books for 2022. After three years, the Hot Seat is back on the EKN Radio Network. The show is taking a more casual approach to welcoming guests and the locations they are taped. After a busy 2022 season, the United States Pro Kart Series Heartland Grand Prix was the best stop to record the first show of the season. To make it a wide spectrum of topics, EKN Managing Editor David Cole sat down with the multi-talented TJ Koyen. The life-long karter, including major victories and championships over the last 15 years, Koyen is an industry member with Oktane Visual and Korsasport Karting Development. Oktane’s client list include NASCAR, IndyCar and all major forms of motorsports and many of those in the karting paddock sporting a lid painted by Koyen. His Korsasport business has been busy in 2022, working alongside Franklin Motorsports and based out of the Badger Kart Club facility. Cole and Koyen hit on a number of topics in this new episode of the Hot Seat.

eKartingNews has launched a new program for social media and the EKN Radio Network - Face2Face. The show is broadcasted live over Facebook and YouTube, with the audio version making its way to the only 24 hour / 7 days a week radio station.
The 59th episode of Face2Face welcomes Craig Finer of Racelab and KARTPLEX. The Canadian joins Rob Howden and David Cole to discuss the new distribution network for the TB Kart and JV Kart through Racelab in North America along with the progression of the KARTPLEX facility in Oliver, British Columbia.

The 2022 season for the United States Pro Kart Series was completed on the September 15-18 weekend with the running of the Heartland Grand Prix at the New Castle Motorsports Park. The New Castle, Indiana facility hosted Rounds Seven and Eight to close out the championship chase for the seven IAME categories, welcoming nearly 250 entries.
